What We Believe

Church should be a warm, joyful, loving community of friends united by their love for Jesus and a vision to advance the Kingdom of God together.

We believe in the whole Bible, front to back. We aim to experience its truths in our day. For example, where it commands us to "heal the sick", we contend to see this become reality in our lives (we have seen wonderful miracles of healing). Here are some other examples of truths we seek to make reality:

  • Salvation by grace through faith- Jesus took our sin on Himself and received the punishment we deserved (on the Cross). In exchange He has given us His righteousness and favour with the Father. What a deal! We want to experience the reality and joy of this daily!
  • Sanctification by grace through faith- Knowing we're loved and accepted without having to do anything sparks in us a love-motivated desire and supernatural ability to advance His Kingdom. It's legal for Christianity to be fun!
  • Priesthood of all believers- all of us doing the works of the Kingdom of God, not just the leaders/pastors etc. (1Pe. 2:5,9 & Eph. 4:12).
  • Baptism in the Holy Spirit, learning to be led by Him daily, operating in the gifts of the Spirit.
  • The five-fold ministry of Eph. 4:11: We relate to trans-local ministries worldwide, some of whom are on the New Covenant Ministries International apostolic team (go to www.ncmi.net for more information).
  • Free and Biblically extravagant expressions of praise and worship to our King;
  • Believers to love each other deeply, from the heart.

And so we could go on. By the way, we also believe in having fun in this family. Lots of it!
